Ink is Expensive...NOT!
Now that you are becoming a couponer, you are probably using your printer a lot more. Some may even debate if the cost of ink is worth the coupon to print with it. Well for one set your default printer settings to fast draft and grayscale. That will help reduce the ink used. Also I buy ink from amazon. I have a Canon photo printer. The ink is $15 a cartridge. This I thought was cheap compared to our old printer's ink. Well now I will not pay that much for all 5 inks! I pay around $4.50 for all of my ink cartridges...yes $0.90 per cartridge!! This is what I buy: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0046XIKZ4/ref=ox_ya_os_product I have never had a problem using this ink. I haven't tried printing photos with this ink. You can always just save your name brand ink cartridges for your photos, but it wouldn't hurt to print a test photo to see how you like the results. Try doing an amzon search for the ink you use, and you would be surprised how much cheaper the compatible off brand ink cartridges are! I'll never go back to spending $80 when I can spend $4.50 for the same thing!!

Travel Connect 4 Game Only $1.24 at Walmart!
The Connect 4 travel game is $5.24 at Walmart. There is also a $4.00 off coupon you can use to purchase Connect 4 for only $1.24! I got these a few months back when the coupon was available and they are so nice to have on hand for birthday gifts and traveling! http://www.coupons.com/couponweb/Offers.aspx?pid=15014&zid=ru81&nid=20&bid=alk0901130918080bada9a18817
Also while you are there print the Monopoly, Scrabble, Sorry and Life. All of the previous have card game versions that are $5.24. WARNING: Stay away from middle age women! They like to think they are better, smarter, whatever and try to stop every single coupon and try to fight you (before even scanning the coupon to see if it'll go through). I don't know why. Some are nice but I have found most are undercover workers for the manufacturers and trying to save them money or something. Just an FYI the store gets paid $0.08 handling plus the value of the coupon from the manufacturer for every coupon you use. They are making money by us using coupons!! Next the young college girls might question but just don't want to bother and pass the coupons through and lastly my favorite: young boys! ;) Seriously, they just don't care and are the easiest checkouts.
EDIT: WHOO HOO!! My Walmart had the Connect 4 games clearanced to $4.50!! $4.50-$4.00=$0.50!!!

How to shop CVS
CVS is one of the best places to get free toiletries such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, razors, shaving cream, body wash, etc. It's also to my surprise a great place to get some food items too such as crackers, drinks, etc. I have gotten many things from CVS that have better than free but have actually been moneymakers for me! The best deals from this store come in the form of "ExtraBucks" which are coupons (think gift card in the form of a printed coupon) that print at the bottom of your receipt to be used on your next transaction. Once you have done one transaction to earn a ExtraBucks, you can then recycle your ExtraBucks. For example today's deal consisted of Buy Excedrin for $9.99, get $5 extra bucks which after the earned ExtraBucks would be $4.99. I had in my envelope a $5 ExtraBucks coupon from the previous week. So my total was $9.99. I gave the cashier my $5 previous week's ExtraBucks coupon which brought my total to $4.99. I also had a coupon for $1.50 off. My total went even lower to $3.49. So I ended up paying out of pocket $3.49 for Excedrin Migraine 100 count!! When the cashier handed me my receipt, $5 ExtraBucks printed at the bottom for buying the Excedrin. Also whenever you walk into the store, find the coupon machine (price checker machine) and scan you ExtraCare card. Store coupons print on receipt paper and many freebies can be had this way! To get the card to take advantage of the deals, you can sign up either online at www.cvs.com or get one in the store.

Print $3/2 Triminic/Theraflu
Print this high value coupon! Go to www.coupons.com and click on Health Care. Look for $3 off of 2 Triaminic/Theraflu. Hold on to it as I am sure we will see a sale soon to use with it!
How do I get Coupons?
Internet: Most coupon sites allow two prints per computer. We have three computers in our house so I can print up to 6 coupons. Most of the high dollar coupons come from the internet. If you are a coupon shoper, about 25% of your coupons will be printed.
Newspaper: I have a Sunday subscription to the newspaper. I'll preplan my CVS deals on Saturday or early Sunday and if I am using coupons for CVS, will clip from my home delivered Sunday newspaper. I then run to CVS for my weekly shopping trip and buy however many newspapers I want that week there. I usually have a total of 3-5 newspapers per week. At the end of the month when the P&G brandsaver is in the newspaper, I'll "splurge" to have a total of 6-8 newspapers as most of my free/cheap toothpaste, dish soap, laundry detergent, etc comes from those coupons.
Mail: Some companies allow you to sign up for their mailed coupons. This is a great way to get coupons for baby formula, diapers, etc.
Email: Sign up for all of your favorite brands' email list as they sometimes send out coupons to your email.
Facebook: I have gotten many freebies this way! They go fast though which can be disappointing. I'll "friend" the company for the coupon, print, and then "unfriend". I'll let you know when there's a good coupon worth friending!

Print both. You can print every coupon twice per computer. You can find the small bottles at many stores for $1 give or take a few cents. Or you can hold on to your coupons and wait for the larger bottle to go on sale.
